About Us

Mic, founder of Ocean Luster, has over 25 years’ experience in the shipping, insurance and security industry with extensive knowledge and deep-rooted networks in chartering, shipbuilding, insurance, claims and risk management aspects in the asian pacific region.

Mic had started his career in COSCO since 2001. He specializes in all manner of maritime insurance claims and legal disputes arising from H&M, P&I, FD&D, War and K&R policies with in-depth knowledge of the operation of Ship Owners and Charterers. Mic supervises the daily operation of the team and is the lead draftsman of submissions in arbitration.

Lyra graduated with Law Degree from Guangdong University of Finance & Economics in 2019. She has obtained Chinese lawyer’s qualification in 2020. She speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English. In Ocean Luster, Lyra has participated the daily operation and handled numerous P&I and FD&D cases for one of the leading Charterers in China since 2019.

Alecia, legally qualified and currently undertaking postgraduate studies in International Law focusing on maritime and admiralty matters. She has two years of experience handling maritime insurance claims and is proficient in resolving complex shipping and contractual disputes through negotiation, with a strong grasp of both legal principles and commercial practice in the maritime industry.

Bob graduated from GDUF in 2021 and joined Ocean Luster in 2024, where he is responsible for risk prevention and security service. He focuses on providing professional, customized security solutions for shipowners and charterers.

Martin, with years of experience in maritime security, possess in-depth knowledge of international high-risk areas, warfare, piracy activities. His focus is on real-time threat intelligence and exploration of new opportunities, as well as customer relationships.
